What Causes Urge To Urinate Post Ejaculation?
Question: After ejaculation I feel like I have to pee more often and there is a slight discomfort near the top of my urethra. I have had chlamydia and ghonorrea tests run after 3 days of having sex and they were negative. It was really uncomfortable for like 2 weeks but has gotten better and my doctor said it could be a reaction to latex. When I haven't just ejaculated it is fine. What can cause this?

The prostate gland is responsible for the temporary storage of sperm, production of semen, their mixture together and responsible for contracting rapidly and propelling the semen out of your penis.
It could become slightly swollen after ejaculation.
Now,urethra helps to eject your semen and allows the passage of urine, so it could become a bit swollen after strong contractions after orgasm resulting in ejaculation and it becomes harder to urinate afterwards because the passage is slightly closed off.
This is a common occurrence amongst all men, so need not to worry.It is not related to any infection.
It could also be due to latex allergy as your doctor said but this is not big issue and generally requires no treatment and get subsided by itself.
In fact,all men who urinate right after an ejaculation have the same issue.
So ,better give some time like 15 to 20 minutes and after go for urination.
