What Causes Undigested Particles Of Food In Stool?

Question: My kid have hundreds of those in stools in the Morning and never eaten Anything like this lately...is this normal? Could it be parasitic? If yes what could it be...thank you

Seems to be undigested food.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
I have seen the attached photograph and they look more like undigested food rather then parasites.
I would recommend you in that case to get your child's stool examination done and if there are any parasites they would be clearly visible in stool test.
If they are found you would need to give your child anti helminthic drugs like Albandazole that your doctor would prescribe based on body weight of your child.
Just check what he has a day before in lunch and dinner and make sure he doesn't take that food item next 2-3 days and if his motions are clear it's likely the undigested food particles.
But at this point of time getting a stool test done should be a priority as it would also detect the undigested food particles.
