Question: My daughter is covered in tiny little bumps that feel rough all over her body. you cant see them with the eye but she continues to pick at them and now she has several scars from it. How do I stopit? I have also had them my entire life and I'm 40

Itchy rashes all over body with scars particularly when there is significant family hiatory in this age is most likely due to some allergy.
Here the mainstay of treatment is avoidance of allergens if it is known.Giving anti allergic medications for long duration provides help.
There are few tests to find out the allergen to which the child is sensitive.
Here I would suggest you to consult an allergist/immunologist to get those tests to find out the culprit agent and also for prescription of anti allergic medications.As per your history you have mentioned that you have not visited any doctor yet.If she is currently on any medication please let me know.
I won't get overly worried as if treated properly these rashes can be controlled.
