Brief Answer:
may not have any cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concern regarding the tingling sensation on the penis tip.

As an Urologist, i would like to tell you, that you don't really need to worry. As it's not persistent, there may not be any specific cause for it to occur.

However, if you have been exposed to multiple sexual partners, kindly get your blood tested for VDRL, HIV and sugar. As long as it doesn't interfere in your sexual health, don't worry about it. With the blood reports, you can consult an Urologist, who will prescribe treatment according to the reports. Drinking lime juice twice a day, does help many people with the same problem.

Hope your doubt is cleared. Feel free to contact me anytime.

Brief Answer:
Antibiotics are taken only for infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
Well i can understand your anxiety about infection.

You've done only an urine routine test, which is reported as normal. As an Urologist, i would not advise you to take antibiotics, on a trial basis.

Urinary infection is diagnosed on an urine culture test. If you feel very worried about possibility of an infection, you can always clear your doubt, by getting an urine culture test done. Only if the report shows infection present, antibiotics need be taken.

Maintain drinking 8-10 glasses of liquids (including water), daily.
Hope your doubt is cleared. wish you good health.

I went again to a urologist and made a urine analysis and nothinh came out. He says there is no need for a blood test even though i had sex several weeks ago. He says that all STDs should show more symptoms than what i have and/or should have come out in the analysis. Does it make sense ? What can it be ?

Brief Answer:
Repeat test being normal, don't worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
I can understand your concern. Well, a tingling sensation, as you describe, is something , you should ignore.
Now that repeat urine routine is also normal, it's best not to worry about it.
Your Urologist is right, in that, your symptoms don't need further testing at present.
Just relax and be in good health.
