Brief Answer:
Take amitriptyline after consulting with your physician

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
I have gone through question and understand your concerns.
Feeling of pressure in headache, mild headache may be side effect of your antihypertensive.
Other possibilty may be tension type headache increasing on stress or exertion.

Due you have any other symptoms like vomiting, diplopia, photophobia, phonophobia, visual blurring?
Inability to sustained inverse position in inversion table is not pathological and may be your body is not accustomed to such situation. You may be able to do that on practice but not advisable from my side at this age.
For treatment regarding feeling of tightness , tingling you may either change antihypertensive or take amitriptyline in night doses.
You can also discuss these symptoms with your treating physician for detailed examination and further evaluation if needed.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
