Brief Answer:
Tingling is likely due to nerve irritation. No need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

Mild tingling in hands and wrist is likely due to nerve irritation or dehydration.

If it is not bothersome then there is no need to worry.

Also, the fact that you drunk heavily last night which may also cause dehydration with electrolyte imbalance especially sodium. So,it could also be the other possibility of your tingling sensations in hand and strange feeling in legs.

Generally,it gets resolved within few hours (maximum 24 hours) by itself or by taking symptomatic treatment (by taking plenty of fluids).

So, I will suggest you to drink plenty of water and fruit juices with added salt frequently throughout the day.

Avoid oily, spicy or heavy diet for initial couple of days, rather take just light diet.

Take over the counter Tylenol 500mg if you have headache and antacid like pantoprazole you if you have gastric trouble.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
