What Causes Tingling Sensation In Body While On BP Medication?

Question: For the past several weeks I have started having tingling all over all extremities to include the right side of my face. My skin feels so cold it feels like it is burning. It is so uncomfortable that I can't concentrate on my school work or sleep. I am 62 and take high blood pressure medication as well as levothyroxine for thyroid disease

From the history you have given me it looks like you are suffering from peripheral neuropathy

Here are my suggestions

1. Continue to take Vit b12, increasing the dose might not help, you will just urinate the extra dose
2. Tab pregabalin is the ideal tablet to be taken at this point. Take one at night after speaking to your doctor
3. Get a nerve conduction study as soon as possible to know the condition of the nerves, meet a neurologist for this

Thank you, please ignore the second question it is the same as the first and I wasn't aware that I had received an answer until now. I am seeing a doctor in the next two days and will ask him to refer me to a neurologist. I appreciate the info.
