Brief Answer:
nerve injury nerve regenerating drug

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. The tingling sensation could be because of the injury to the nerve basically trigeminalnerve. It can occur if there is pressure over the nerve by any cyst or tumor or during extraction by instruments.
Consult a oral physician and rule out all the above said causes.
if i am your treating doctor i would have suggested you to take a radiograph to rule out any pathology arising from tooth or nerve and prescribed nerve regenerating drugs like capsule neurobion once daily for 1 month.

It's good that you have stopped the habit of snuff dipping. The habit can cause cancer if you continue the habit.
Consult a oral physician for complete examination.
I hope my answer will help you. Take care.
if any queries reply me back.
