Brief Answer:
Possible GERD/acid reflux;to determine by upper endoscopy...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and I need a few more details before running final conclusions:
- when you say "mucus" , are you reporting mucoid-like saliva especially after eating? If this is your case, then, it might related to GERD/acid reflux.

At your age, if I was your caring doctor would advise to run upper endoscopy for further evaluations.

Meanwhile, I advise to:
- eat often and small portions, chew up slowly
- avoid spicy/chilly/oily/fried foods
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- take antacids after eating

Hope it helped!
