Was 24 hr urine protein done?
Sometimes the protein leak can be transient.
most commonly kidney damage is there leading to protein leak, the reasons are obviously High BP and Diabetes. It is important to control sugar and pressure to stop progression of damage.
However there are certain things that damage kidney esp medications.
So your kidney specialist would assess those culprits to stop further damage. example medication can be changed for you BP and Diabetes.
