What Causes The Frequent Urge To Urinate?

default
Posted on Fri, 3 Jul 2015
Question: 2 weeks ago I went to the doctor cause I was having an urge to pee. So he took a urine sample and gave me 2 types of pills for Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia. I waited the 7 days after treatment before having sex again and i had no symptoms plus I never receive a call back for my urine test so I'm assuming it was negative or I would have got a call back. But the problem im having now is my penis didn't hurt until I had sec with my partner. We had unprotected anal and vaginal sex and my just the tip of my penis hurts. I was looking up what it could be and there is no discharge, no sores. Everything looks normal doesn't hurt to pee or nothing, there is just the mild discomfort and it feels worse when I have to pee. Most Sti I read up have a discharge, but I don't have any of that could it possibly be a uti from having unprotected anal sex, or something that had gotton inside my urethrea. I always used hair a few days before having sex and it cause the skin on my penis to be sore for a few days but it went away

Your age and relevant medical history like diabetes or prostate disease?
Any history of similar complaints in the past?
Do you have any sort of pain or itching while passing urine

STI may present without discharge at times so this can't be ruled out without investigation.

You need not to worry, please follow these guidelines
Have plenty of fluids which will by flushing of the urogenital tract
If symptoms persists or worsens you may require a urine culture and sensitivity test and accordingly a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor.

Hello
Thanks for your reply
This could be due to injury during sex or lack of lubrication or local allergy

In my opinion you should apply antiseptic ointment on sore tip of the penis and use lubricants when you do sex next time.

You need not to worry, have plenty of fluids and maintain good hygiene

Best wishes
