default
Posted on Wed, 4 Oct 2017
Question: Hi Doc
I experienced air bubbles in my shoulder four months ago after a hectic week of squash. The bubbles have since appeared more frequently in the morning around 7 am when I wake up. Also after a run or hectic activity.

Brief Answer:
Can be a normal finding.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The feeling of bubbles in the shoulder without any pain can be due to pressure changes in the joint or due to a mild reduction in the joint lubricants. This is usually harmless but may be a sign of early arthritis. You can start with joint lubricant supplements like glucosamine and chondroitin and see if it helps.
I hope this answers your query.
