Brief Answer:
Further tests are necessary...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your query carefully and understood your concerns.
The swollen testicle might be related to:
- hydrocele (accumulation of fluid-filled sac)
- inflammation/infection (especially if accompanied by penis discharge)
- hernia
- varicocele (enlarged venous plexus of the scrotum)
I highly suggest to schedule an appointment with urologist and to run further tests:
- urine analysis
- culture of spermatic fluid
- abdominal/genital ultrasound
- physical examination from urologist
in order to determine the right cause and start proper treatment in time.
If discharge is present, should run tests for STDs. Meanwhile, I advise to avoid sex until improvement.
Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have more queries!

Brief Answer:
Possible retractile testicle/hernia to rule out...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Thank you for your clarifications.
The "risen testicle" that you determines as not swollen, I assume are risen up out the scrotum (near groin area). It is called retractile testicles due contraction of the cremaster muscle (the one which attaches to the testicle).
Further investigation from an urologist is needed to also rule out hernia (which might have also involved cremaster muscle or the blood vessels nearby and caused risen testicle).
Hope it has been clarified to your satisfaction. Let me know if your have further queries!
Thank you!
