Question: This part of my neck bulges up when I speak loudly or sing.

Anything I should concern myself of?

The most common cause for the bulge would be a condition called as jugular ectasia, which just means abnormal dilatation of the jugular vein.

Please dont worry as this does not need any treatment is a common variation. The condition can be confirmed with a ultrasound scan and doppler study of the neck.

If you do not have any other symptoms like pain or difficulty in moving the neck, then do not worry.
