Brief Answer:
Balantitis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are having swelling of the foreskin of your penis. This is called balantitis and is usually caused by infection of the skin. It may need oral antibiotics or topical steroids to reduce the infection and swelling. If that does not work then circumcision is the last resort. I do recommend that you see your medical provider. In the mean time use gentle soaps to clean the area and apply hydrocortisone cream. Keeping the area as clean as possible without harsh soaps will help reduce the swelling and help the healing.
