Question: You may want to review yesterdays question and answer. Anyway, I went to my gp doctor today and he checked me over. He said lungs sound great. I had a fever of 100.8. I absolutely felt awful. He checked white blood cells and they were completely normal. He felt and observed my swelling and tenderness in my left armpit/breast area and was not concerned. My head feels like it is ready to explode and I cough incessantly with absolutely nothing coming up. It is like a tickle in back of throat. Anyway, he gave me a huge shot of Keflex in the hip and a prescribed keflex pills to be taken orally. Also, he prescribed a nasal spray called fluticasone spr 50 mcg. I asked him why I have the swelling in my lymph gland and he said it could be cause by an anti-perspirant? Told me to discontinue use of it and see what happens. This really caught me by XXXXXXX I guess anything is possible. I have a lot of faith in my doctor and have been going to him for 30 years+. Just want to see what your take on all this is.
