Question: I get swelling and redness on the inside of my legs just above the knee. it is about the size of my hand

Since how long this redness with swelling above knee is there?
Any pains? Any long walks/or strenuous long standing work done lately,before it appeared?
Do you have any old DVT(Deep Vein Thrombosis) in that leg?
Do you have high fat profiles in the past /or currently
Primary Impression-
Thrombophlebitis on inner side above knee level.
Do's Suggested-
Rest and Elevation for the time being.
Get Consults with Vascular Surgeon
And get USG scan with Colour Doppler of the affected and normal leg-for comparative study.
Next appointment-
Any time In case of any further emergency in the hospital /
or after 2-3 weeks,by which time you would come out with suggested investigations and its results and would be reviewed for further plan of treatment, if need be.
