What Causes Sweet Smell In Nose?

I am so sorry to hear about this sweet smell in your nose that you have reported. This is not a known side effect of doxycycline. However, if this started after taking doxycycline, it might be an unknown link/side effect that has never been described before.
Because this symptom is not life threatening and I really have a strong believe that this might be more of an incidental occurrence than a disease, I would like to be gentle in my approach. By this, I would initially want to monitor until after the completion of treatment. If this same smell persists up to 7days after completing treatment, then we may comfortably think it is not caused by the drug and probe for other possible causes. Only at that time would I recommend a detailed physical examination by an ENT specialist to look for any hidden conditions in the nose that might explain this.
In all, this smell is more likely an incidental observation than a disease. May be related to doxycycline but not known. If it persists after completing treatment, then we would explore further. However, I would bet on a spontaneous resolution.

Went to ent he looked up nose scope said normal I have vertigo seizure anxiety heart block ileus and and am positive on Elisa text and western blot .. Candida ? Mold? Because of antibiotics? Possible brain tumur?
54 white usa Michigan hydrcele operation 1 month ago fatty spermocele outside tunica viganalis with cysts they went ahead with a lords style operation removeing tunica no fluid between testicle and tunica. and mass they calles spermocele with cysts was on outside of tunica .know I have a new marble shaped cyst forming on top right testicle it is hard and some pain when touched .why these cysts keep forming? Cancer.fungi.parasite.bacteria?.my primary doc put me on doxycycline he thinks b burgdorfi bacteria from my dog. he has lyme and ticks he also has round worm and licks my face ..I got rid of dog.I wanted the doc to remove testicle we argued and he convinced me to save it .I did not want to take any chances with cancer . Know I have cyst by or on right kidney ..scared...? Any ideas what would u do if u were me.?

Your symptoms are not suggestive of cancer or an active infection. I will suggest that you relax about having the feeling of something terrible happening to you. How concerned about cancers you are and XXXXXXX the willingness you showed in proposing that your testicles be taken out means a lot. This tells me how worried you are about being ill. These same very strong thought could be responsible in making you have report smells that may not be really be the case.
As of now, an exam has shown that there is nothing wrong with the nostrils. There is no other reason to suspect an ongoing disease condition. Because smells is not a threat to life in itself, I will still want to monitor and collect more information at a later date to help guide the diagnosis process.
In all, be calm. Be not too scared of diseases that have not been identified and there are no symptoms or signs to suggest so. if there is need for that in future, we would say so when we have more information to suggest we are dealing with a concerning disease condition.

A one time observation of semen discoloration is not enough to conclude there is a problem with the color of your semen or a disease condition. This only become a reason for further investigations if it persist and /or associate with other symptoms. That is not the case with you at this time. I will suggest you monitor and only return for further aggressive measures to investigate if this persists.
