Brief Answer:
Hyperhydrosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

You have excessive sweating of palms and feet. It is called as hyperhidrosis and is mostly not caused by any health condition.

You can treat it for a while but it tends to come back. You can try over the counter antiperspirants over your feet and palms. Washing them 2 - 3 times a day with soap will help prevent germ buildup - especially on feet. Oral medicines (anticholinergics) are also available but not very helpful.

Along with this, get your basic blood tests done like fasting blood sugar, etc. Sometimes there may be a systemic condition responsible for hyperhidrosis (mostly it is not).

Hope it helps.

Brief Answer:
Medicines not approved by FDA

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

Medicines have not been approved by FDA for use in hyperhydrosis.

The medicines that are usually prescribed for the purpose have anticholinergic properties and thus have some side effects as well. Thus I would suggest that you take them only when needed and not in routine. You can try glycolate 1 -2 mg that can be taken upto 2 -3 times a day. You can also try oxyspas tablet. These are prescription medicines and you will need written prescription from a doctor.
