Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you, this time I received it.

May I know if the patient has also an excellent self hygiene apart being in excellent health? Sometimes, if living in hot/humid places, such inflammation can arise if poor hygiene.

If no pain or itchiness, then, I advise to encourage the patient to keep a good local hygiene and to avoid any roll-on deodorant or other forms of deodorants until improvement. You can swipe with alcohol pads, let dry, then, apply iodine locally.

If it won't improve in a couple of days, then, clotrimazole lotion to apply locally.

Hope it was of help!

Thank you for your help. His hygiene is very good, but perhaps he is missing this area. I will follow your instructions to see if it clears. Is the clotrimazole lotion a prescription or OTC?

Brief Answer:
Clotrimazole lotion is an OTC medication, can find without prescription...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Clotrimazole lotion is OTC medication. I have given some advice you can try without prescription. If within a couple of weeks, there won't be improvement, then, should follow with prescription medicines by dermatologist.

Please be careful when applying alcohol as it might give burning sensation and would aggravate the rash. If yes, then, skip alcohol and use only iodine.

Wish fast recovery!
