Question: hello, i have experienced a sudden dizziness that lasts all day for the past week and 4 days. Today i woke up up runny nose and sneezing, pressure in back of head and still dizziness. I have taken Voltaren, and flexeril thunking it was my cervical spine, but no help. I have taken physical therapy for the cervical for the past three days and no change. I also took an Excedrin for my head but still nothing. I dont know what can be wrong. The dizziness doesnt stop and pressure in head. Please advice. Im worried it may be something severe.

Brief Answer:
Probable viral infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Since there is runny nose and sneezing too, besides head pressure and dizziness, it is possible that your symptoms are caused by a viral infection.

It is necessary to get evaluated medically by your primary care Doctor and to get done a brain MRI in order to assess any involvement of cranial nerves ( equilibrium nerves and inner ear ).

It is necessary also an evaluation of a probable infection by appropriate blood tests.

Treatment depends on examinations results.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
