What Causes Stuffy Nose And Burning Sensations In The Eyes?
Question: My nose has been clogged for almost a whole month, im constantly blowing my nose and im getting like these strings of slimmy eye boogers pic attached that make my eyes burn and bloodshot. Is this all from allergies? The eye thing just started and ive never been clogged this long. If so do you recommend anything that will help?

Allergies can cause prolonged problems especially if the person is still exposed to the source/cause of the allergic response.
If the discharge from the nose or eye has a green or yellow tinge, it is possible that there may also be an infection present.
If an infection is present then oral antibiotics would be needed in addition to other medication
The other meds that may help include: (1)anti histamine/decongestant oral combination such as claritine d, allegre d, zyrtec d, benadryl d
(2)topical decongestant such as normal saline or otrivine. Otrivine can only be used for 3 to 4 days at a time
(3)topical steroid nose sprays such as nasonex, nasocort, flonase etc
If the anti histamine decongestants along with nasal sprays are not enough, may need meds such as montelukast or ketotifen. These work at different points along the allergy response.
Allergy testing, to help find the source, may also be helpful
(4)olopatadine is a drop that is used for allergies of the eyes, may be helpful for him. If this is not available that your pharmacist or doctor can provide an alternative
(5)use of sterile eye wipes would prevent or help treat the infection in the eye. They can be used to remove the discharge when it is present. This would prevent any infection on the hands from transferring to the eye

I seen the ones for eyelids but theres kinds u can touch the eyeball with?
