Brief Answer:
ultrasound of scrotum and also abdomen

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Thank You for consulting HealthcareMagic!

I can understand your concern. Based on the description you have given, I suggest you to undergo an ultrasound of scrotum and also abdomen. This would be helpful in detecting what is going on with you.

I personally think that there should not be any major problem for you based on the information given by you. However, a Physical examination is mandatory to assess this since there are variety of causes that needs to be ruled out.

Brief Answer:
An ultrasound of scrotum and also abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

An ultrasound of scrotum and also abdomen along with thorough physical exam is needed to comment on whether you will be able to have kids or not. But, I do not think that based on the information you have given, there is a big worry. I believe that you will be able to have kids. But, however, confirmation with the tests above I mentioned will be good.

We need to examine physically, whether the testicle has shrunk or whether it has not descended to the scrotum.

Take Care.

i was 15 when this happened so i guess testicles had been descended, is it something common because i have never heard anyone else going through something like this. there is only one testicle now am sure of that. Even if the testicle is shrunk i dont feel anything there when i do a physical examination. Whats the worst case scenario ?
will i get testicle implants or the other testicle would be back to normal with medication or surgery ?

Brief Answer:
testicular implant can be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Hi,

I can understand your concern. I suggest you not get worried by assuming things. First of all, you are guessing that testicles could have been descended. Then, you are again assuming that testicle could have been shrunk. Just a little time in getting a physical examination and ultrasound would clearly confirm things.

Regarding your other question, yes testicular implant can be done. But I request you not to get worried about all these thing now itself, before confirmation of diagnosis.

Take Care!
