Brief Answer:
Symptoms can be caused by UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

In my opinion you may suffer from urinary tract infection (UTI). Stinging sensations can result from an infection in the bladder or in the prostate gland.

UTI is caused by bacteria that get inside your urinary tract.

Please note that an enlarged prostate gland may increase your UTI risk.

I suggest you to make an urine test to check if there is an infection or not. If yes your doctor will prescribe you an antibiotic.

For right now you can try over-the-counter Urinary Pain Relief Tablets.

Also You should ask your physician to examine your prostate gland because enlarged prostate gland can cause your symptoms.

Urinating frequently and drinking more water may help to prevent urinary tract infection in the future.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help

I'm sorry, you misunderstood my description. It does not sting while urinating. The stinging is on the outside around the penis head base where the circumcised skin meets the bottom of the penis edge. Because of the penis "withdrawing" back into the skin, urine that has collected causes a stinging sensation. I use vaseline to take away the sting but does not heal it. Is there a special healing cream to use?

Brief Answer:
Mild steroid cream will help you...

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

I apologize I misread your query initially. The current description is much better though.

In such cases, I suggest you can use over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream 1%. Apply it to affected area no more than 3 or 4 times daily. It helps reduce inflammation and stinging sensation. However if symptoms will still be present I suggest you to make a swab test to find which pathogen is present.

Also you should check your glucose level because it may be one of the reason of your problem.

Best regards
