Brief Answer:
Diet for the Refractory Coeliac Disease

Detailed Answer:
Hi,Dear,Good Evening and Thanks for the query to HCM.
-I studied your health query and went through all its details.I understood your concerns about the diet of your dad.
-Dear,Refractory coeliac Disease is a disease which doesn't always benefit from 100% gluten free disease.
-Its a symptomatic severe enteropathy with villus atrophy of -enteric mucosa due to the auto-immune dirsoder ,despite the 100% gluten free diet with malabsorption syndrome with weight loss.
-And the etiology of Refractory Coeliac Disease is not due to the gluten -like in gluten enteropathy.
-Hence you need not worry and insist on Gluten free diet-as your dad at 72 is suffering from Refractory Coeliac Disease.
-Ryles tube feeding is for reducing the digestive stress on the enteric mucosa and recoups the body and its general health.
Hope this would resolve your query.
Wish your father early and fast recovery.
