Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to health care magic forum.
I am Dr Aslam here to help you.

As you describe, you are having a squishy, mobile, painless, soft swelling in your armpit. And,this is there as such for one year. Also,I guess you have adequate apatite, and not loosing your weight.

This is the typical description of a benign swelling-probably,this is what we call
"lipoma".It is a harmless benign swelling, and usually we do not go for removal unless it causes some cosmetic disturbance,or it compress nearby structures(causing symptoms).
Anyhow,it will be fine if you could get it examined by your doctor to confirm, and rule out other conditions like aneurysm(though less likely).Sometimes he may ask for simple investigations like a FNAC(needle aspiration) or imaging depending on examination findings.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have further questions,I will be happy to help you.
Take care,Thank you.
