What Causes Spotting Of Blood While On Mercilon?

Question: Hi doctor, hope you well!
Basically i am still on the pill and will leave it in a few days. However, today i seen spotting of blood. What do i do? Please help. Thank yoh

Hello dear, good to talk to you again.
I would like to ask how many more days do you intend to take the pills. If you want to stop after 3-5 days then continue taking it.
But in case it is more than 5-7 days then you won't be able to spend it without intermittent spotting so better to leave and have periods rather than spotting every now and then.

hello doctor, your my life saver.
To start i wanted to say that i go back home on saturday inshaaAllah. So even if i come on periods on friday its okay. So when should i leave the pill?

Thank you. When i leave the pill il get my periods right ? Then again its the same thing of waitig for periods then taking pill on first day?

You are most welcome dear.
Take pill till Thursday and then leave it and you will get periods by Saturday or so.
Yes again the same process will start from day 1 of periods.
Also though less chances but in case full flow of blood starts in a day or two then also leave the pills and let the full flow of periods continue.

Ok doctor XXXXXXX Basically after I leave the pill I normally come on after 4 days so if I take today the last day or tomorrow then I leave so that would mean I get Saturday. InshaaAllah. Would that be okay?
I don't mind leaving it, what's ur best recommendation is it better just not to take it today? Or is it okay if I take today and tomorrow last days.
I just don't want that for two days it affects my system and messes up inside. My holiday is nearly over so it doesn't really matter now. Whatever you know is best please advice. Either I don't take it from today or I take the pill till tomorrow. Thank you

Sorry fir the delayed response dear.
Take it till tuesday that is today as you will get your periods early as you already had spotting so this time you will get your periods in a day or two after leaving the drug. So take pills till Tuesday and on leaving most likely you will get periods by Thursday or Friday so will suit your schedule as you said you are done with your holiday.

Hi doctor no problem for the late reply as it was quite late so understandable. I didn't take it last night as I was confused if I should take or I shouldn't I thought il just leave it. And it's slowly coming out so my husband said that don't disrupt ur system if it started let it just come. But I would like to ask that should I take the pill today? Like one now in the morning? Or should I just leave it. And how will I know when to start another pack? Coz if it's already spotting from yesterday and till today how do I figure when the actual period is to start a new pill pack?

No dear leave the pills now.
No need to take any pill because it will not work as already spotting has started and that implies breakdown has started so endometrium will be shed soon.
Once next pill crosses 26 hours of intake of previous pill the concentration of medicine falls rapidly in blood
Start new pack once full flow of periods starts like in your usual periods.

Ok doctor, it has started and it's like flowing a little it's not spots but it's a different colour not red it's like mauvish brown. I think il start pill on Thursday again what do you think?
