Question: Hi about 5 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a new partner. Under the rim of my penis i noticed a few little sores or tears a day or so after. It seems to only open when I masterbate. I went to a std clinic a few weeks ago because I started to get nervous I had herpes. I also had a cold sore on my lip. The nurse practitioner thought I had herpes on my lip but wasn't sure about on my penis, she prescribed me Acyclovir. And told me it would help it clear up. The sore on my lip lasted about a week with help from Abreava. I still have a few open sores under the rim of my penis, but I only seem to feel or notice them when I masterbate. But there is still pain all the way around my penis rim. It just feels very sensitive and it's kinda in a line all the way around the underneath part of the rim where under the head. I'm not convinced I have herpes due to the fact I don't seem to have the symptoms like puss from the sores, or blisters and also it hasn't heal or stabbed yet and it's been over 4 weeks. She told me it would scab but it still hasn't. I've looked at pictures on the internet and it seems like it's more of an infection then herpes.
