Brief Answer:
Seems like severe gum infection .

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

So sorry to hear about your problem and being your Dentist I will try my level best to resolve it to the best of my knowledge and experience..

As per your explanation of the symptoms of sore gums, gum bleeding and nasty taste in mouth along with pulse feeling and sucking blood..
You have also got teeth cleaning done but still symptoms are present..

The symptoms are pointing towards deep seated gum infection and it seems that only cleaning superficially wil not help..
It is indicative that you have severe gum infection and also pus formation in gums..

Please answer the following questions so that I can guide you better..

1.Do you also have loosening of teeth along with bleeding?
2.Are your gums swollen?
3.Do you have any medical problems like Diabetes and are you on Medication for any illness?
4.Are you presently taking any medication for gum problem?
5.Did you get any x ray of teeth done?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards..

Brief Answer:
Seems to be gum recession due to infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome back..

As per your explanation it seems that shrinkage of gums is due to gum recession and it occurs due to infection only that leads to loss of attachment of the gums from tooth surface and it leads to gum recession..

Metallic taste can be due to pus and blood discharge from gums..

I would suggest you to consult a Periodontist and get evaluated..
He will also advise you a Panoramic x ray that will help in ruling out the extent of damage to gums and underlying bone..
He can do a thorough Scaling followed by curettage and also advise you a course of antibiotics like Metronidazole and doxycycline..
You can also be advise antiseptic mouthwash gargles, gum paint massage over gums and warm saline gargles..

Further treatment can be planned according to the progress achieved from this treatment..

You can also revert me back with scan of Panoromic x ray so that I can guide you further..

Any further queries are welcome..

Regards..
