Brief answer....it is better to consult a cardiologist
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understood your concern.
Although your complaint is just soreness in chest and not complaining of any palpitationsĀ
or squeezing pressure in chest or sweating or uneasiness in chest area, there is no harm in consulting a cardiologist for examination and investigations like ECG.
It is always better to be safe rather than feel sorry later on and specially when the concern is regarding heart.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Hello,
Swallowed stuff doesn't cause such type of problems and that too after a gap of 2 weeks.
I am not saying that this is definitely a heart problem but it is just an extra measure of precaution.
It could be simple gastritis resulting in some acid production causing pain in the chest or may be just nothing.
Thanks

Hello,
You can take a proton pump inhibitor like PANTOPROZOLE 40 mg once a day on empty stomach in morning.
If your chest pain is because of gastritis and acid production, you would be benefitted.
