Brief Answer:
May be a cyst or a lymph node

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
As per the description you have given this soft call like structure on the top of the thigh beside the bladder which looks red and tender (pain on touch) can be an infected cyst as you are rightly thinking. Other possibility is that it may be a lymph node.

Just o know the details please tell me few more points :
-Since when have you got this lump and since when has it become red and tender ?
-What is the size and is it moving with the skin when you move the skin or the skin can be moved freely over it ?
-Any associate problems of infection at the penis or scrotum / any itching ?

Irrespective of the cause, I think it will be better to take a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines like Ibuprofen.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for more and give the feedback.

I noticed this yesterday and it's a little itchy and red from morning, freely movable and sized smaller than a inch.

no associate problems at penis or scrotum, do you also want me to apply any kind of ointment on the skin, please help me to clear this as soon as possible and do you want to follow any diet?

Brief Answer:
Liq Betadine locally .

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
If this is just of one day origin, looks to be a boil.
You can apply liquid Povidone Iodine (Betadine) to the skin over and around it to sterilize the skin.
No diet restriction or additional diet in such conditions unless you have diabetes.

Doctor can you please prescribe a tablet for quick cure. Antibiotic or something else which works on the lump to make it disappear. I've applied betadin on that area and took Ibuprofen (Combiflam) there's no pain but it's still there.

Please help!
