default
Posted on Mon, 28 Dec 2015
Question: I have a hard lump the size of a purple seedless grape or smaller in my right breast just closer to the arm.
My Dr. said it is not is the lymph node. He recommend a biopsy. I recommend leave it alone. I believe it will spread if I cut it.

Detailed Answer:
Brief Ans-Lump in Right breast axillary tail/ Under Evaluation

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Reviewed your query with its concerns and medications.
Please update-
Since how long you have this lump?
When did you undergo the biopsy of that lump? Any time before,as mentioned in medications?
Is it painless or painful to pressure on it?
Can you please upload the biopsy report if you're having it..
In this scenario,I would suggest you to go for Mammography and FNAC Biopsy - and plan for its Surgical Excision later date,if you don't want to take the Risk of Surgery Now.

It is not recommended to leave it alone,as your doctor is right in suggesting the need for Biopsy.
As this simple looking lump could be Cancer for you advanced age, and hence needs to be ruled out by FNAC Biopsy with histopathological studies.

I would wait for more information from you as asked above , after which I would revise my suggestions if needed in next interaction.

Welcome any further query in this regard.
Good Day!!
