What Causes Skin Tags On Body?

Question: I have this skin tag or what it's name since about a year . Is there a way to remove it or just leave it as it is .

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If you are not having any symptoms with that lesion you can leave that. But you have to keep observing the lesion. And if you develop any symptoms like increase in size, irregular edges, altered surface etc, better to consult dermatologist and get the lesion removed. Different methods like cauterization, cryo etc help in removing the lesion.

I have nothing with it . So shall i leave it . That's what do you mean ?
But do you know why it appeared . Can i have more of them in my face as i am a model in a big atelier in France & all my qualifications is my face & body . So i want always to be in a good shape & appearance .

Hi,
Skin tags can be seen in many people due to age related changes, over weight, friction, hormonal changes etc or sometimes without any proper cause.
You may or may not get new lesions on your body.
Usually symptom less tags do not need treatment.
But if they are disturbing you in anyway, you can go for removal.
