Question: My friend of age 76 is a type 2 diabetic, heart stints in, and last fall broke out with a rash in vary's spots on his body and then it began to cover his back and had large red scaly spots on this feet, hands, ankles, back and hair. he has been told it is eczema or psoriasis . he developed the flu and pneumonia in march and his blood work shows he has stage 2 kidney issues.now he is very weak and tired all the time and has lost his appetite. my question is what should his next step be? whom is a kidney specialist here in Bilings, Mt.? I am reading that this is a kidney issue. he is also anemic. please reply, thank you XXXX

Before running into final conclusions, I'd ask to have :
- photo of your friend's rash
- lab tests reports

It is normal for diabetics to develop skin and kidney problems. If kidney problems (failure I guess) are confirmed, then, blood tests are necessary to understand his current kidney condition and to take further measures.
