What Causes Size Diffrences In Testicles?

Question: Two week before, one my friend said that, size of one testis is comparatively smaller that other. At time time I said it happens sometimes, and after sometime it will come to normal size. But yesterday he said from that day he was observing, size is increases but still smaller. I dont want to tell his name. My question is that, is this can cause problem in future?

Brief Answer: Both the testicles are never of same size. Detailed Answer: Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your friend has noticed that his one of his testicle is smaller than the other. The testicles on both side are never of same size and one is slightly bigger than other .There is nothing abnormal and will not have any problem in future . Ask him to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination to rule out presence of any free fluid (.Hydrocele ) in the testis which he suspects to be bigger and get ultrasound scanning of the scrotum done to find out whether both the testicles are functionally normal.and free from any lesion.
