What Causes Sharp Pain In The Stomach Area After Eating Along With Itching?

Question: I have been experiencing sharp pains in my stomach area - mostly after eating and when stressed. My family has a history of ulcers, so I took one of my sister's stomach pills and it seemed to help. However, not sure if its a coincidence or not, but although the pill helped my stomach situation, I have begun itching terribly on my right side and shortly afterward, when I looked to see if I had a rash, etc., it looks like I have "old" bruises on my stomach area. It starts where the itching began on my upper right side of abdomen and now is coming across my stomach area. I have several little bruises that look old, but they aren't. Is this a reaction to the pill? It does not look like the shingles to me, just red where I'm scratching and the bruises. Not sure if its two difference things going on or not. I've XXXXXXX under a lot of stress lately. I just don't know..
