What Causes Sharp Pain In The Right Side Of The Navel?
Question: i am male 25 years old. last 24 hours have had a dull ache sometimes a sharp pain just right of my belly button. have not had any changes in eating habits or appetite. there is discomfort when i push on that area but does not cause sharp pain at that time

Pain in the area just right to belly button is commonly during to Acute appendicitis.
Another condition that has to be excluded is Right sided Ureteric stone.
Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue.If it is inconclusive, I will go for CT scan abdomen.
Please consult your surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
Till investigations, I prescribe smooth muscle relaxant tablet containing Dicyclomine twice daily.
