What Causes Sharp Pain In The Foot?

Question: I am looking for some advice and your opinion on my symptoms please. About a year ago I started having pretty bad pain in my right big toe on the joint closest to my foot. I got a steroid injection in it for presumed arthritis and it helped so much for about a month. Unfortunately though since then the pain progressively gotten worse. The joint hurts all the time even if I haven't been active and if something touches it, I have a really bad sharp pain. The same joint in my left foot now hurts as well, just not as bad. In the last three months I've started having pain in my hands as well in multiple joint. My hands also feel very tired when I wash my hair or my face. I wake up at night often and both of my arms are numb from the elbow down. Just for a little background about me, I'm a 32 year old female, I've been really active through my life. I like to run but don't much now, and the pain persists. When I was running, I would run 3-6 miles per day. Another strange thing is that a few times after running when I was resting in the evening I would get really achey and run a fever, 100-101. It would also be gone in the morning but so weird! Several members of my family have osteoarthritis, but they developed symptoms at an older age than I am now. I've just assumed my symptoms are osteoarthritis but im not sure given all the symptoms. Do you think all of this is related or just several different things? What do you think could be the issue? I really appreciate any help.

I had an xray last year. I dont think it really showed much but the doctor just said he would do the steroid shot to treat for arthritis. No bloodwork yet.
