Brief Answer:
OTC pain killers;discuss with urologist for evaluation&repair

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are having.

You are reporting to have left testicle sharp pain due to small hernia while positioning during sleeping. You can take OTC pain killers (e.g. ibuprofene or ketoprofene) to get relief.

You can apply alternating warm and cold compresses to relief the pain. If there is swelling, do not apply warm compresses, but only cold compresses.

I also advise to consult with urologist to evaluate the status of hernia and to decide for best treatment (repair).

Wish fast recovery!
