What Causes Sharp Pain Above The Waist?
Question: I'm having intermittent sharp pain above my waist, on the mid right side, below breast, since this morning. No real change in bowls, or flatulence.
Also having pain in my right shoulder down my arm. Very painful at night.
Also having pain in my right shoulder down my arm. Very painful at night.

Acute cholecystitis - which is inflammation of the gallbladder that develops over hours, usually because a gallstone obstructs the cystic duct. Symptoms include right upper quadrant pain and tenderness with pain on same side of shoulder.
Or it can be due to Acute cholecystitis which is istone in gallbladder.
Suggestion-
Go for a Ultrasound abdomen initially to find out the exact cause.
