What Causes Shallow Lesion On The Perineum Area?

default
Posted on Thu, 13 Apr 2017
Question: I have one small shallow lesion located on my perineum. It's painful like a tear, as if I wiped too hard. No itching, no drainage, no blood, no scab, no discoloration. Could this just be a dermatitis or a fissure? I had a new partner in February. The last time we were active was 21 days ago. No vaginal discharge or odor, no painful urination. No pelvic pain. No other lesions.

Brief Answer:
Dermatitis likley

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
I have reviewed the photograph.
It seems to be dermatitis.
I will suggest you to get urine examination done for any infection, and take pain killer and apply mild steroid like eumosone.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Does it seem to be any sort of STD? Chancroid? I didn't see any lesions on my partner. He said he was clean. There is no fluid or discharge from the lesion.

STD unlikely

Hi dear, it is unlikely to be any STD or chancroid.
