Brief Answer:
Need some information and images if you do not mind

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. If you do not mind, please do attach clear images of the region in speaking for my assessment so I can provide a more clear treatment regimen. You can do so by either attaching images directly to our discussion here, or you can email them to me at:

YYYY@YYYY

Please also mention 'ATTN: Dr. Shoaib Khan' in the subject line.

If at all it is a fungal infection it would have appeared due to the region being damp often and possibly even difficult to clear, but otherwise there can be other possibilities. I also have a few questions for you if you do not mind:

+Does the region smell
+Is the region constantly damp or moist due to hot temperature
+Is the area swollen as well
+Does the region look infected?
Any extra information will help.

I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Treatment prescribed does not match my diagnosis; intertrigo

Detailed Answer:
Hi sir.

Thank you so much for the information and images.

From the images it looks to me like a condition called intertrigo. Intertrigo is a rash that occurs between skin folds especially in areas like the armpits, lower abdominal folds, below the breasts, etc. It occurs more often in the obese population and is caused by heat, moisture, lack of air circulation or friction between skin folds.

The treatment and my advice would be the following:

+Keep the region well exposed to air always
+Avoid tight clothing
+Weight loss if obese
+Short-term use of topical steroids (but this is best prescribed and supervised by a local doctor who is always in reach and who can monitor the use of steroids as I will not be able to do so physically myself)

I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.

Best wishes.
