Brief Answer:
please provide more details

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

perhaps I can answer your question but I need more information. Please describe the patient's symptoms and the lab findings. If possible please upload the reports. What do you mean when you say bile? Do you mean brown urine or is it something else? Any surgeries in the past? A brief medical history would help a lot.

I'll be waiting for your input...

Brief Answer:
could be various disorders...

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the additional info!

So it seems that vomiting is her main symptom. If the doctors have placed a Levin tube and remove bile out of her stomach then an obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract (ileus) is likely. I can't say for sure, since I haven't seen the tests or - most of all - examined her but we usually use these tubes when the gastrointestinal tract cannot cope with its contents by itself.

The causes of ileus are various. Previous surgeries are the most likely causes. Tumors, hernias and other causes may also apply to her case. Sometimes it's not an obstruction but a malfunction of the intestinal motility. Her kidneys problem does not seem relevant at this point. The kidneys may cause vomiting when they're can't function properly and too much urea has accumulated in the blood.

So the main concern in cases with vomiting is to determine the underlying etiology. Clinical examination is of utmost importance for the diagnosis. Abdominal CT scan is another very important test. Blood tests may provide additional clues. I'm sorry that I can't provide a more personalized answer but the information is not enough to do so.

I hope it helps!
Please contact me again, if you can provide any more information or you'd like to discuss this further.

Kind Regards!
