Question: I had a severe chest pain (right side). I took 3 reg. aspirin & now the pain is gone.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
Since you are old age and your chest pain is improved by aspirin, we need to first rule out cardiac cause.
Because aspirin is pain killer as well as anti coagulant and given in cardiac chest pain, so possibility of cardiac origin pain is more in your case.
So consult cardiologist and get done
1. Ecg
2. 2d echo
3. Stress test to rule out cardiac cause.
