Question: At 5:30am I woke up with some pain in my urethra as if there was a little ball of fire trying to get out. That sensation has dulled down a little, but now I'm experiencing severe pain in my lower left back and feeling nauseated. Can you help me?

Brief Answer:
Urinary stones. Needs hydration, Medicine and alkaline solutions

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

You seem to be having a urinary stone.

Take Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 2 days after meals.

Drink 2-3 litres of water daily. Take Syrup Alkaline citrate or Citralka 2 teaspoons 3 times a day for a week. Drink Cranberry juice two glasses a day. Avoid alcohol.

Once your pain settles down, if it is a small stone, it will get excreted in the urine. You could get an Xray KUB and Ultrasound KUB to look for kidney stones as well.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
