Brief Answer:
pain is probably from spinal stenosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The nerves that go to your legs are probably being compressed either by the spinal stenosis or the herniated disc. This can cause pain in the legs as the nerves run out from the spinal cord through your buttocks into your legs.
You need to talk to your doctor about this and see if there is something they can do like a spinal injection or something else to ease the pain. If there is nothing they can do medically they may need to do a surgery.
If the pain becomes severe or if you develop incontinence of stool or weakness in your legs you need to go to Emergency.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
