Brief Answer:
To rule out deep vein thrombosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of day

Dear Ms,

Presence of severe pain in one of the leg aggravated by movements possibility of Deep venous thrombosis needs to be considered apart from it being due to ceelulitis.
Deep venous thrombosis is more likely if there is associated swelling of the concerned limb. Diagnosis depends on clinical examination and confirmed by Doppler scanning.

Would suggest you to consult your Physician at earliest. In the meantime keeping the leg elevated by placing pillows under the leg and analgesic like Ibuprofen may give some relief.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
