What Causes Severe Pain Around Ear After Eating?
Question: I am having severe pain around ear and sometimes unbearable only in right side.ENT doctor has seen(nad)dentist seen(nad).It occurs only after eating my meals during day and night.I have sneezing and allergy due to reasons not known.Sprays and medicines are not effective too.

Hi,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having right sided ear pain.
As per your clinical details,it appears to be referred otalgia secondary to Eustachian tube (tube connecting the middle ear and nose) dysfunction secondary to allergic rhinitis.
Any lesions of throat or neck will have ear pain (common nerve supply ).
I suggest you to undergo audiometry (Eustachian tube dysfunction ) and laryngoscopy (acid laryngtis, pharyngitis) from an ent surgeon for the exact cause. Treatment can be started as per the findings.
Meantime, start ppi inhibitor with prokinetic (pantoprazole+ domperidone) pan-d twice daily before food (half an hour prior), do steam inhalation, continue valsalva exercises (watch you tube exercises). Restart same steroid sprays(it starts working after 15 days of continuous usage).
