Brief Answer:
Tablet -Emeset MD 8 mg (Ondansetron)- Sublingually and Continue Tablet -Nexium.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to H.C.M.

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Tummy tuck or Abdominoplasty removes excess skin and fat around the stomach, while also tightening the abdominal wall.

No need to be scared from foods and fluids because if you avoid to eat then you will be dehydrated and severe weak.

In some patients after tummy tuck this type of nausea and vomiting may be problem but its completely treatable.

I advise my patient to follow these steps if they complaints of nausea, vomiting and constipation after tummy tuck-

1) Tablet -Emeset MD 8 mg (Ondansetron)- Sublingually or dissolve it below your
tongue twice a day for 3 days. It is a prescribed medication.

2) Continue Tablet -Nexium -twice a day for 7 days.( its not cauing constipation)

3)Avoid spicy food, tea, coffee, smoking and alcohol.

4) Drink a lot of water- 8 glasses a day along with juices.

5) Stool softeners- Syrup Lactulose 15 ml daily once a day.

6) Soft diets.

Inform me that symptoms improves or not.

Your doctor is planning for Endoscopy and its good decision.

If your symptoms will not improve then Endoscopy should be planned before given date February 2015.

Hope this answers your question.

Please do not hesitate for any query.

I will be happy to answer your questions.
