Brief Answer:
muscle relaxants / L carnitine will help

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mrs Alesa,

Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your medical history in detail.

Restless leg syndrome / involuntary muscle spasms usually occur due to L carnitine / vitamin D/Calcium and electrolyte imbalance in the blood resulting from long term use of migraine medications.

These can be easily cured by taking Vitamin D/Calcium and L carnitine supplements. These will cause the spasms to get relieved to a considerable extent.

If these spasms are painful, then you can ,in addition, take muscle relaxants like tizanidine or chlorzoxazone or thiocolchicoside.

Insomnia can be taken care of by taking anxiolytic medicines.

You should consult your family physician and get them prescribed.

Get you blood checked for vitamin D,calcium and electrolyte (Sodium and Potassium) levels.

I hope the answer was useful.

Feel free to ask me any follow up queries that you may have.

Thank you.
Kind regards.
